SLIFR U
Sergio Leone and the Infield Fly Rule, the awesome blog written by mild-mannered film freak Dennis Cozzalio, is known among its fan base for periodic pop quizzes, perpetrated by various and sundry professors, which inspire lots of audience participation. Indeed, I eagerly enrolled at SLIFR U in 2005. But this is not light trivia, kids. We’re talking elaborate and rigorous film geekdom. And after a few semesters, I fell behind, ran out of things to say, couldn’t understand half the questions, and flunked out.
Still I try to audit the classes at SLIFR U as much as possible, and study old class notes. Because Dennis is so prolific, it sometimes proves challenging to locate the quizzes in the SLIFR archive. So I’m starting a list.
