Au contraire, ma soeur! Damn the rhyme, I must disagree in free verse. I just crowed with delight to see the LoTR images backed by the ass-kicking Buffy music. Oh, yeah, it's a glorious jest rife with potential for comparison. Good versus evil, small persons (aka girls) burdened with the obligation to save the world, some hunky guys along the way to help out. I really dug that last episode, too, and MY library has the books of Joss' 8th season. I'm saving them until I finish the Angel series - I'm down to the 10th place in line for season 2. Rock on, Backyard Buffster. Keep those high kicks coming.

Sorry to be a wet blanket, but this elicits from me the polite comment Steve makes when watching others hypnotically savoring some form of fresh fruit, "I'm glad you like it . . . "

Watched the first trailer, expecting the threat of an imminent vampire bite, but it's just iconic LOTR clips with Buffy music. I prefer Howard Shore as sauce with my serving.
