Ah, there you are, little Kevin, baby boy.
New mama’s got a son in her eye
No clouds are in my changing sky
Each morning when I get up to rise
I’m livin’ in a dreamland(Stills/Young)
Congratulations, Em and M!

Wow! Gorgeous photo (kudos to Michael or Sylvia) !!!
Love the poem/lyrics ~ something new to me and perfectly apt.
Beautiful . . .
Sons have been one of the highlights of my life.
XXXOOO
I copied this and sent it to other Hydes and Hoods. When I copied the photo, it said “From Skype conversation with Michael . . . ”
KT, do you know a way to capture a still during a Skype conversation??? If so, I need to learn how to do it so when James is in Mexico we can take photos of him.
Wow!
M
M, be sure to click on the photo and head to my Flickr photostream for a couple more shots. Yes, I captured these during a Skype call with Kevin (not long after the fab conversation with you yesterday) – so awesome…He opened his eyes and sang at me, then Em turned the Mac around and we watched Michael change K’s diaper together. So awesome.
I should, like, see about buying some Skype stock or something.
And THANK YOU THANK YOU, Em and Michael, for surprising me with the call. I used the Mac OS screen grabber app thingy (called Grab, I think) to capture the Skype window. Multiple times.
The lyric is the chorus of “New Mama” by Neil Young, from his album Tonight’s the Night. I saw references to Stephen Stills around the Internets so assume he wrote the music or the words. It is a devastatingly beautiful song – you must hear it.
Fab photo! Tech queen scoops on-site photographer, of course. D-day photos to follow as soon as tech-boy gets a moment away from Daddy duties. Going to Skype for Great-Grandpa, too, doggone it! And hook Annagail up with a birthday account and Macbook from us all – just circumvent Tiger completely. I’ve every confidence she could do it, right now. Famiy group hug!
Mamie-mia!
Thanks for documenting Kevin’s first Skype conversation! It will be a fun memory for posterity. He is looking forward to his next visit with Auntie Katie very much! He’s showing such techie tendencies like his Daddy already…
